With The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes releasing in just a week, Nintendo is still trying to gain more publicity for the title by following their classic email demo code distribution method.

Much like the Splatoon Global Testfire, you are only allowed to play online co-op on a selected number of dates and times. However, like the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS demo codes released previously, the demo has unlimited plays but is accompanied by limited features.

While local co-op is available at any time (with the availability of one dungeon to play), online co-op is varied and both single-player and download play are just plain unavailable.

You've been selected to try out The Legend of Zelda™: Tri Force Heroes game before it's released. Here's how it works:

Use the code below to download the demo.

Once downloaded, you can play the available dungeon with two friends* via local play. (Other modes such as single-player and download play won't be available.)

10/16: 5 PM - 10 PM PT
10/17: 5 PM - 10 PM PT
10/18: 7 AM - 12 PM PT
