Because of the series' 25th anniversary, Sonic the Hedgehog will have its very own panel at SXSW, which is a set of film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences in Texas, later this month. This panel includes Yuji Naka, the creator of Sonic; Takashi Iizuka, the head of Sonic Team; Roger Smith, the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog; Mike Pollock, the voice of Dr. Eggman; Austin Keys, the director of product development at Sega of America; and last but not least, Aaron Webber, the person who runs the legendary official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account. The panel will not only be about the series' past, but also about its future, as SXSW has stated that a "special reveal" will be part of it. Curiously enough, The Super Sonic Zone News says that this reveal will not be a new game, though they did not offer any source or explanation for that statement. The panel will be on March 19th, at 3:30 PM CT, and will also be streamed on Twitch.

What do you think SEGA is going to reveal at this panel? Let us know in the comments below!
