Indie team Ackk Studios (developer of action-RPG Two Brothers) is hard at work on YIIK: A Postmodern RPG – a bizarre and nihilistic adventure inspired by the likes of the cancelled EarthBound 64. This unique take on RPGs was slated for a "Winter" launch, and although Ackk Studios was targeting December, they previously revealed that it could release early next year.
Thanks to a blog post from the studio, we now have a more precise launch window, but it also means there's going to be a bit of a wait. YIIK is about 96% complete, but in order to launch all versions of the game within a short time period, it is now planned to release in February or March. More specifically, this was done to keep the console versions of the game from releasing months after the Steam version.
