If you're into indie games, Nintendo, or both, then you've probably heard about the recently announced Humble Nindie Bundle. For the first time, Humble Bundle has produced a bundle for consoles, and it features Nintendo indie titles. What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe it's a momentous occasion heralding the continued rise of indie developers, or do you not really care?
Personally, I think this is a sign of great things to come for those who love indie titles. Not only is Nintendo partnering with indies, but also a third party distributor. Unfortunately, only those in the Americas can partake of this great deal, but this is more due to Nintendo of Japan and Nintendo of Europe choosing not to participate, rather than a region-locking issue. Still, I think the fact that this Humble Bundle exists at all is encouraging. Do you feel the same way, or do you live outside the Americas and think this stinks? Or maybe indies aren't your thing, and you want Nintendo to show this level of cooperation and outreach to AAA studios? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
