Bandai has been knocking it out of the park lately with their video game adaptations of the legendary Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been an immensely successful follow-up to the original Xenoverse, and last year's Dragon Ball FighterZ is the highest-rated Dragon Ball game of all time. So what's next for Bandai's Dragon Ball lineup? Today we got our first hint!
According to a tweet from Bandai Namco's UK account, developers will spend 2019 hard at work on an upcoming action-RPG set in the Dragon Ball Z universe. It's simply known as "Project Z" at the moment, and no additional details have been revealed. However, we should be learning more soon. The Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Final will be held on January 26 and 27, and Bandai is teasing more info then.
The same tweet also indicated that "The Warrior from Universe 11" is coming to FighterZ. For those who haven't kept up with the Dragon Ball Super anime, that would most likely be a reference to Jiren, Goku's primary rival in the Tournament of Power arc.
