We have known about the new mythical Pokémon Marshadow for a while now, and thanks to GameStop, soon players will be able to get their fingerless-gloved mitts on a level 50 Marshadow for their copy of Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon.

Players of the 3DS games will be able to visit participating GameStop stores and pick up a code for Marshadow from October 9th to the 23rd. The Fighting- and Ghost-type Pokémon boasts unique abilities such as being able to steal the stat boosts of its opponent through its signature Spectral Thief move. Marshadow will also come with Marshadium Z, the Z-Crystal that allows it to use its unique Z-Move, Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike, and it will know the four following moves: Close Combat, Force Palm, Shadow Ball, and Spectral Thief.

This has been noted by The Pokémon Company in their press release as the first (official) time players will be able to obtain Marshadow for their Pokémon teams, so it seems like there will be more chances in the future beyond this GameStop distribution. But just to be safe, you should definitely pick up Marshadow if you already have the game and really want the newest mythical Pokémon!

What do you think about Marshadow in general? It has become fairly normal for these specially powered up Pokémon to become available through distributions like this, so what do you think about Marshadow only being available through GameStop at first? Once October rolls around, let us know if you received Marshadow and started wiping the gym floor with fools silly enough to take on your living shadow!
