Well, that didn't take long. Nintendo just launched Nintendo Switch Online, and the new online membership service includes access to a digital library of NES games. There were 20 titles available at launch, and Nintendo is adding more at a rate of about three per month. Some fans aren't willing to wait for the goods, however. In virtually no time at all, at least one has gone ahead and added more himself.

YouTuber and hacker/modder DevRin has posted a series of videos showing off his ability to add extra games to the library, including Rare's Battletoads. It only took a few hours after the service launched before the videos started popping up, which can't be a pleasant sight for Nintendo. Of course, it does beg the question: why wait to trickle out 30-year-old games slowly instead of just making them available?
