During the most recent Nintendo Direct we learned that Luigi's Mansion is coming to Nintendo 3DS. This new handheld version of the game closely resembles its GameCube predecessor (you can check out a side by side comparison here), but there are some notable differences both in gameplay and graphics. Thankfully, GameXplain has thoroughly analyzed the footage to reveal everything that's different so far.

GameXplain's analysis uncovered changes to both the appearance and functionality of the map on the Game Boy Horror device. Switching from a GameCube controller to a 3DS also means that the controls have been altered, especially with the loss of analog trigger. Their video also goes over some of the graphical differences, such as changes to redesigned models, new lighting effects, a wider view, changes to textures, and more.
