Hyrule Warriors came to Nintendo 3DS a few months ago as Hyrule Warriors Legends, and during a Nintendo Direct it was announced that the game would be receiving four packs of DLC throughout the year, pieces of which would also come to the Wii U version. We got the first of these packs back in May, and now Nintendo has revealed that the second, based off The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, will be releasing on June 30th in Japan and Europe. In addition to the release date came a ton of details, images, and even a trailer for the new pack.

Marin is joining the battle, and as speculated she'll be wielding the Sea Lily's Bell, which looks to be a Water-attribute weapon that also summons the Wind Fish himself for some of her attacks. In addition, Linkle will also be receiving a new weapon: the Boots, a Lightning-attribute weapon that lets her unleash a devastating flurry of kicks to take enemies down. These new additions will be available for both Legends and the original Hyrule Warriors on Wii U.

The 3DS version will also get a few exclusive pieces of content from this pack, namely a new Adventure Map—based, of course, on Koholint Island, the isle where Link's Awakening takes place—and some new outfits for the My Fairy feature. The Adventure Map will include new items, Skulltulas, and Heart Pieces, but it will also hold "Attribute +" weapons for other characters in the game. It's unknown at present if these weapons will have unique designs or be more powerful than Rank 3 weapons, but they will feature two elemental attributes instead of the usual one.

This will all come with a free update to Legends that raises the level cap and adds new medals and Fairies to the game, as well as implements some bug fixes and adjustments to the characters.

While there's no word yet on the North American release date, chances are good that it will launch on June 30th as well. Until we get confirmation of that, however, feel free to check out the new trailer above, as well as a plethora of images showing off the new content below! Will you be grabbing this DLC pack? Are you excited to see Marin join the fun, or to try out Linkle's new weapon? Let us know in the comments!
