During Sony's E3 press conference yesterday, Square Enix dropped quite the bombshell, announcing Kingdom Hearts III. The reveal was met with huge applause, which makes perfect sense given that it's been so many years since Kingdom Hearts II's release. Since that the game was announced during Sony's press conference, and that up until this point numbered Kingdom Hearts titles have been Sony-exclusive, it was easy to assume that Kingdom Hearts III would follow the trend of home console Sony-exclusivity. However, this is not the case. It has been reported that Kingdom Hearts III will not only be a PlayStation 4 titles, but will also be making its way to Microsoft's Xbox One.
The news that Kingdom Hearts III would be the first title of its series to ever release on an Xbox console was released during Square Enix's Final Fantasy panel earlier today.
