The Wii U may not be getting many new games this year, but gamers itching to dig into more Nintendo titles can always turn an eye to the past with the system's Virtual Console. Another two games have arrived on the service in North America today, both of which hail from major Nintendo franchises and started life on the Nintendo DS. Kirby Canvas Curse sees the titular pink puffball forced into a ball that you can roll through levels by drawing paths on the touchscreen, while Animal Crossing: Wild World provides the classic home decorating experience that fans love.

Nintendo posted descriptions for both of these games on their website, giving a brief overview of what to expect in each. First up is Kirby Canvas Curse's description:

Draw rainbow paths as you guide Kirby through a magical adventure! When Kirby gets turned into a ball by an evil witch, your hand-drawn rainbow paths become the only way he can find power-ups and reach the gates in each world. Stun enemies, destroy barriers, and detonate bombs—and do much more—by using the stylus. Unlock special features by collecting medals in each stage and completing in-game tasks!

And here's what they had to say about Animal Crossing: Wild World:

Cross over to a brand-new world! Get ready to start a new life! Whether you want to decorate your home, catch bugs or fish, join in on special events, or just chat with the locals, there's always plenty to do! Accessorize your life with over 600 new items. Design constellations, clothes, and flags. Take part in events as the seasons come and go!

Will you be grabbing either of these new additions to the Virtual Console? What games are you hoping to see added to the service in the future? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
