Man, I did not expect to be writing about Lindsay Lohan for anything video game related (or just anything in general for that matter) when I woke up this morning. The once-famous actress is preparing to sue Grand Theft Auto V publisher Take-Two Interactive on grounds that they illegally used her likeness. According to Lohan's lawyer, the character Lacey Jonas is an "unequivocal" reference to the actress, and that her image, voice, and styles from her clothing line are all being used without permission for the game.
Of course, this is the same woman who tried to sue E-Trade for $100 million for saying the name Lindsay in a commercial, so I wouldn't expect this to lawsuit to become too serious of an issue in the future. Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar have not commented at this time.
