Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a smash hit on Nintendo Switch, with nearly 10 million copies sold on top of the game's Wii U sales. What many fans don't know is that Nintendo also regularly teams up with Bandai Namco to create Mario Kart arcade games. The latest of these team-ups is Mario Kart Arcade GP VR, which (as the name suggests) is a virtual reality title, and UK fans will soon have an opportunity to try it out!

After launching the VR racer in Japan last year, Bandai Namco has decided to bring it to VR Zone Portal London at the Hollywood Bowl at the O2. Making use of HTC Vive technology, Mario Kart Arcade GP VR lets up to four people compete across the Mushroom Kingdom. The game uses tracker technology and haptic feedback for a truly immersive experience.

If you're interested in trying it out for yourself, you can book a slot here. After its initial appearance in London, the game will also be rolled out to other Hollywood Bowl locations, including Tunbridge Wells and Leeds. You can also check out a gameplay trailer by clicking above.
