When Wreck-It Ralph first launched in 2012, it was filled to the brim with references from classic video games, including several Nintendo Easter eggs. Since then, Director Rich Moore has stated that he'd love to give Nintendo a bigger role in the next film, and he'd love to include Mario himself. With the sequel fast approaching, something strange is going on at Epcot's attraction for the upcoming film.

Visitors to the Wreck-It Ralph 2 section of the Disney World Play Zone at Epcot have noticed a familiar tune. For some reason, the speakers are playing a new, orchestrated remix of the original Super Mario Kart theme. This is a highly unusual change, and it seems to indicate Wreck-It Ralph 2 will feature Mario Kart in some way. Considering the first movie featured a "Sugar Rush" race that seemed to draw inspiration from Nintendo's famous racing franchise, a more direct reference is certainly possible.
