During Microsoft's E3 conference this afternoon, Lydia Winters, Mojang's brand director, came on stage to announce Minecraft's "Better Together" update, a new update that will bring cross-platform play to Minecraft, unifying the game across PC, consoles, and mobile devices. The game is also getting a free 4K update as well as tons of new graphics packs this fall. On top of this, for the first time ever, player-made content will be officially added to the game, showing appreciation for the devoted online community of Minecraft fans.
