Monolith Soft, the developer that is known for Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X, is in dire need of more 3D Computer Graphics Designers. This follows from an update in their recruitment page, where they posted the position for 3DCG designers, with the note that it is "urgent" and that they want a "mass" recruitment.

They are recruiting for two offices: one in Tokyo and one in Kyoto. The Tokyo office was in charge of the two Xenoblade games, but they also work on games like Project X Zone. Their recruitment listing is as follows:

Programmer

Planner

3DCG Designer (Urgent!)

2D Designer

Effect Designer

Motion Designer

Project Manager

On the other hand there is their Kyoto office, whose main function is assisting Nintendo in the development of their own titles, like Animal Crossing: New Leaf, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Splatoon, and Pikmin 3 for example. This is their recruitment listing:

3DCG Designer (Mass Recruitment!)

Effect Designer

Motion Designer

Both the 3DCG Designer options were recently listed, and we can only guess why they need many 3DCG Designers so urgently. Executive Director Tetsuya Takahashi wanted to make a big RPG with a grand story again, so this might be for that project. We also know that Yasuyuki Honne, the creator of Baten Kaitos, is working on a new project, and he was recently relocated to the Kyoto office, where the mass recruitment is going on.

If you have any guesses as to which new projects we are going to see from Monolith Soft next, let us know in the comments below!
