Last month, The Pokémon Company teased that the Alolan Pokémon Rockruff had a "Secret Evolution," and yesterday we learned more about this thanks to scans from the latest issue of CoroCoro. Rockruff evolves into Lugarugan, but it can take on two different forms (Midday Form and Midnight Form) based on the time of day that it evolves.

Two more scans surfaced today, revealing some new information. The scans show Rockruff evolving into the Midday Form of Lugarugan in Pokémon Sun and into the Midnight Form in Pokémon Moon, but it seems like both forms should be achievable in both games. We also learned that the Midday Form can learn a new move called AccelRock, which is a priority move. Meanwhile, the Midnight Form can learn Counter.

Pokémon Sun and Moon will launch worldwide on November 18th for Nintendo 3DS.
