Nintendo has gotten into the game of distributing DLC for their first party titles relatively recently compared to other companies. That being said, it usually proves worthwhile, whether it's the extra cups in Mario Kart 8 or the challenging two-pack expansion to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This makes the potential for even more DLC for the Switch's launch title juggernaut all the more tantalizing, and there is reason to believe there could be more adventuring coming our way.
YouTube Zelda theorist HMK seems to be the first notable fan to have noticed something new in the Explorer's Guide, a part of the new Explorer's Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. On page 94, the guide reads: "Consider purchasing the expansion pass, which includes the first two DLC packs."
The use of the word "first" may suggest that more DLC packs for the game could be announced and released in the future. Of course, before that we are likely to hear more about The Champions' Ballad DLC pack two, which is still slated for a 2017 release. That leaves one month to go!
