Nintendo has decided to continue their trend of re-releasing popular games from yesteryear with new content on Nintendo Switch. The latest to get the "Deluxe" treatment in the same vein as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is Super Mario Bros. U. The long-rumored re-release has finally been confirmed, and like past Deluxe games, it will include new content.

Nabbit and Toadette have both been added as new playable characters. Nabbit can't take damage, making him a great play for newcomers, while Toadette has the ability to power up into "Peachette." This new release of the game includes Super Luigi U for no extra cost, and it launches on January 11th, 2019.
