UPDATE: The English version of the video has been released and it along with new images can be seen after the jump. The English name is confirmed to be "Honedge."

The official Pokémon X and Y site has updated with more information of the newest addition to the Pokédex:

Honedge comes into being when a departed spirit inhabits a sword that once belonged to humans. It can use the blue cloth attached to its hilt as nimbly as an arm. If you were to carelessly take this blade in hand, you may find that blue cloth wrapping around you...draining the energy from your body!

Original Post:

Straight from the Japan Expo, Game Freak has unveiled yet another brand new Pokemon for us to oogle our eyes at. The latest Pokemon is known as Hitotsuki (ヒトツキ) in Japan and will be called Monorpale in the French versions of Pokemon X and Y. Hitotsuki is a Steel/Ghost-type Pokemon.

The most glaring attribute about the latest Gen VI Pokemon is that it's an inanimate object, a sword. The sword is detailed as containing an ancient spirit inside it and was known to sheath and unsheath itself using the scabbard found in its blue "hand." It was seen fighting a Golem in a special video shown off at the Japan Expo.
