If you've been looking for a Nintendo Switch since its launch back in March, you've likely given up unless you're really lucky. Thankfully Nintendo likes money, and they want to change their console availability by making a lot more consoles this year. We can only hope they meet the demand of the millions of people who want to get their hands on their new portable home console.

According to a statement Nintendo made to the Wall Street Journal, "We're doing everything we can to make sure everyone who wants to buy a Nintendo Switch system can do so," and while this may seem like a statement that's been said countless times, reports from inside the console's manufacturers have said that they're planning on producing 18 million consoles for the holidays. It seems like overkill, but if that's what it takes to meet demand, it looks like they'll be prepared. Nintendo aims to sell 10 million consoles by April 2018, and as of June 2017, they've already sold 4.7 million.
