Hello Games, creator of the somewhat notorious space exploration game No Man's Sky, has added a new update that brings several new elements to the gameplay experience. These include ground vehicles, improved graphics, support for PlayStation 4 Pro, and various new survival-oriented modes.

The trailer for all this new content shows off the Roamer, a rover-like vehicle capable of traversing rough terrain extremely quickly and allowing players to explore planets much more quickly; the Nomad, a hovering scout vehicle that is even faster than the Roamer; and the Colossus harvester, which can carry multiple resources to facilitate long mining missions. Existing spaceships can now be specialized to fill specific roles as well.

Additionally, there are now multiple modes to choose from, including the normal baseline mode, a survival mode, and a permadeath mode where players only have one life. The game also now has support for the PS4 Pro, with improved graphics for lighting, ambient occlusion, and 4K resolution. There is a photography mode as well which allows players to change the time of day and add filters to the images they take.
