The Wii U, despite its lackluster sales and relatively small library, had quite a few high-quality titles. Three of the best games for the console were all developed by Platinum: Bayonetta 1 & 2 and The Wonderful 101. Although the first Bayonetta was just a port from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (and is now available on Steam), the other two were original titles that many gamers did not have access to because of their exclusivity. However, this may be changing soon.

On their new Japanese Twitter account, Platinum teased two images: one featuring Bayonetta, and one with the cast of The Wonderful 101 playing their game with Joy-Cons. The image of Bayonetta features her face over two backgrounds: one red and one blue. Fans were quick to point out that these colors match the colors of the Joy-Cons included in one of the primary Nintendo Switch bundles. That said, red and blue were also colors featured on the box art for the Bayonetta games, so it's possible this is a coincidence. As far as The Wonderful 101 goes, it should be of note that the game relied heavily on the use of the Wii U's second screen, a feature that the Switch lacks, so perhaps the image isn't hinting at a port, but rather at a new title altogether.

Are these images confirmation that we're going to be seeing Platinum titles on the Switch? Let us know what you think!
