Rockruff was one of the first Pokémon revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon, and the adorable Rock-Type puppy is getting some major new powers in the upcoming Ultra forms of those games. Well, its evolution of Lycanroc is, at least. As often happens, the next edition of Japan's CoroCoro magazine has leaked a few days early, and it reveals new details about Rockruff and Lycanroc—including Lycanroc's brand new Z-Move.

This exclusive Z-Move is called "Radial Edge Storm," a Rock-Type Z-Move which will deal damage and eliminate terrain effects but can only be used if Lycanroc knows the regular move Stone Edge. It won't be something that only Dusk Form Lycanroc can use, fortunately—all three forms of this lupine beast will have access to this power.

Additionally, new details have been revealed about Rockruff's evolution into Dusk Form Lycanroc. From the sound of things, any Rockruff can evolve into this unique Dusk Form from 5:00 PM - 5:59 PM so long as it is level 25 and has the ability Own Tempo. This is an ability which Rockruff can't have naturally, hence why you'll need to use a specially-distributed version of the Pokémon in order to obtain the new Lycanroc. I'd hope that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will alter Rockruff's abilities to maybe make this its hidden ability, but there's no word of that happening yet. It'd just be nice, as it would give players who miss out on that launch distribution a way to get this unique beast.

Finally, a few more details have surfaced regarding the new forms of Alola's legendary beasts, Solgaleo and Lunala. There's not much, as CoroCoro basically just confirms that the new forms are the result of a fusion with them and Necrozma. However, it does name these new forms as well: "Necrozma Mane of Twilight" is born from a fusion with Solgaleo, while Lunala becomes "Necrozma Wings of Dawn." We'll have to wait and see what exactly this all means and why Necrozma is given top billing here; perhaps these details will be revealed during tonight's Nintendo Direct.

What do you think of Lycanroc's new form and powers? What do you think of Necrozma's new forms, and what role do you expect it to play in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon? Check out some scans of the CoroCoro leaks in the gallery below, and give us your thoughts in the comments!
