Since their reveal, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have had fans worried that these games were going to be mere remakes of the latest generation, slightly updated with a bit of new content but largely remaining the same experiences as Sun and Moon were. The Pokémon Company has been slowly doling out details on the changes to these new games, however, and now they've hit us with some major reveals that may just dispel your fears. It looks like these new games will feature massive changes after all, with tons of new storylines as well as whole new worlds you can discover via the Ultra Wormhole.

The main story trailer is only available in Japanese, but it certainly looks and sounds epic enough on its own, featuring hints of entire new locations and content. A second new trailer released this morning has expanded on these hints immensely, revealing tons of brand new content. Once players have their game's legendary beast on their team—Solgaleo or Lunala—they'll be able to ride them through the Ultra Wormhole itself, entering the worlds of the Ultra Beasts and battling them on their home turf. A new team, the Ultra Recon Squad, gets highlighted, as does the world from which they come. Yes, this team is from an entirely different reality known as the Ultra Megalopolis—a place described as "a world where Necrozma has stolen the light."

Necrozma itself also plays quite the role in these trailers, especially the story one, where we see it doing battle with Lunala, possessing Solgaleo, and possibly (it's kind of hard to tell) being encountered atop the massive tower in the Ultra Megalopolis. There's plenty more in these trailers to get excited about—new Ultra Beasts, new characters, even more fascinating teases for the plot—so make sure to give them a watch below!

We'll have to wait and see what more these games have in store for us, but one thing's for certain: these are definitely not just minor remakes. What do you think of these new trailers? Have they finally gotten you excited for Ultra Sun and Moon? Why can't they ever release the really epic Pokémon trailers in English? Give us your thoughts in the comments!
