The Nintendo rumor mill never stops pumping out new bits of information. Rumors of a Nintendo Direct today proved to be true; meanwhile, another claim from industry insiders states a brand new The Legend of Zelda title is coming to the 3DS this year.
The game in question is reportedly "an enhanced remake" of Link's Awakening, according to insider Marcus Sellars. The game was supposedly scheduled for release last year, but was delayed to include open world elements after the success of Breath of the Wild. The team behind this game is allegedly none other than Grezzo, the same people who brought you the remakes of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and also the infamous Tri Force Heroes. The new remake is currently scheduled to release in Q3 2018.
Alongside Sellars, another person by the username Nate869621 revealed similar information. However, they both claimed that Grezzo developed the critically acclaimed A Link Between Worlds, which is not the case. We should always take these sorts of leaks with a grain of salt, but especially when basic information like that is false.
