Yesterday, we reported on a juicy rumor from Direct Feed Games and Game Informer that said Xbox Game Pass is coming to Switch with Project xCloud support. This would give Switch owners access to tons of games that were previously Xbox exclusive and potentially even allow the console to run more hardware-intensive games. Today, another source has backed the rumor while also naming more expected ports to the system.
The latest buzz comes from major French gaming outlet JeuxVideo. They back up the claim that Ori and the Blind Forest is on the way to Switch and add that Cuphead is in the works as well. Beyond that, they believe Microsoft is considering bringing over bigger exclusives, potentially even including games like Halo, Gears of War, or Forza.
They also speculate that Rare Replay could be on the way, but that doesn't seem to be based on inside knowledge. JeuxVideo believes that Xbox Game Pass will come to Switch this year and that there's the potential for more than one hundred new games to be available to Switch users as a result.
They also noted that they haven't heard anything about the rumored Scalebound revival for Switch. As we've explained before, we believe this rumor is false, and Liam Robertson agrees after checking with his sources close to PlatinumGames.
