Nintendo won't be sharing any more official details about their next console (including its software lineup) until their Nintendo Switch event on January 12th, but the leaks keep coming in the meantime. Laura Dale of Let's Play Video Games recently posted a list of supposed Switch games including a port of Xenoblade Chronicles X.
She has since clarified that Monolith Soft, the developer of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X, will not be handling the port. Instead, the Nintendo-owned company is focusing its efforts on a brand new game for Nintendo Switch. It's apparently still very early in development, as Dale's source doesn't expect it to launch anytime before 2018 at the earliest.
Dale is known to have a reliable source inside Nintendo who accurately leaked when the Switch reveal would take place, the content of the reveal, Switch's use of cartridges, and more. However, it's unclear whether this information comes from that proven source or someone else.
