The Nintendo Switch has delivered some solid gaming experiences in its first half-year on the market and in the homes and hands of consumers, but oddly enough, other applications such as video-streaming services like Netflix have been missing from the console's downloadable infrastructure. This situation is made ever weirder by a new rumor that says Netflix is "locked and loaded" for release on the console.
GoNintendo user KamehamehaX has reported that a Netflix customer service representative said their service is ready to go for the Switch at any time. While Nintendo has so far not commented on this statement and the representative could be misinformed, the unnamed rep has still stated that the application is ready for Nintendo's platform and is simply waiting for executive approval to be placed on the Nintendo eShop.
What do you think about this rumor? Do you think it is legitimate, and when do you think we might see Netflix and other applications on the Switch? Have a discussion in the comments below!
