Nintendo has had immense success with their miniature, plug-and-play versions of the NES and SNES, and now SEGA's looking to get a piece of the action for themselves. At SEGA Fes 2018, Nintendo's former rival revealed that they're launching a Mega Drive Mini, or Genesis Mini in North America. You can expect this retro stocking stuffer to launch sometime in 2018.
Unfortunately, SEGA's initial reveal of the mini console wasn't particularly...revealing. The short teaser trailer doesn't tell us how many games the console will have, what kinds of games the console will have, when it will launch (specifically), or how much it will cost. Fans of the Genesis/Mega Drive will likely be excited nonetheless, but it seemed like a fairly rushed announcement from SEGA. You can check out the teaser trailer by clicking above.
