Games Done Quick is one of my favorite events in the gaming industry. Held twice a year (Awesome Games Done Quick in January and Summer Games Done Quick in June), these events brings the world's best speedrunners together to compete and show off their skills while raising millions for charity. The next Games Done Quick is just two months away, and the event organizers have just released the complete schedule.
The show kicks off with a rock-solid day one, including mega hits like Banjo-Tooie, Spyro the Dragon, Majora's Mask 3D, DOOM (2016), and Resident Evil 4. As the week rolls on, you'll get to see pros take on a myriad of games in great franchises like Zelda, Metroid, Mega Man, and so much more. It's one of the best line-ups of games I've ever seen at a GDQ event. Summer Games Done Quick 2018 lasts from June 24th through July 1st, and the money raised will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
