Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was successfully funded on Kickstarter over three years ago, and following a recent delay, it's finally almost here. Developer WayForward Technologies recently announced that the action-platformer will be released digitally across all platforms on December 20th, and now publisher Xseed has the physical release details.

The PlayStation 4 and Vita versions will be available in stores on December 20th, and the Wii U version retails a week later on December 27th. The digital version costs $19.99, while the retail version is $29.99 and includes a 30 track "Risky Beats" soundtrack.
