Playing video games is a wonderful pastime, but it's also an expensive one. Most AAA titles come with a $60 price tag, and that doesn't even include the inevitable DLC and possible microtransactions. Fortunately, publishers occasionally make the effort to get some of their best titles into the hands of gamers on a budget.

Nintendo has been doing this for years with their Nintendo Selects program (which discounts popular 3DS and Wii U games to $20), and now Sony is following suit. Sony has just unveiled their new "PlayStation Hits" lineup, advertising "great games for a great price." Each game in the PlayStation Hits title will be discounted to just $20 starting on June 28th. Available titles (and release dates) will vary by region. For the US, the current lineup includes:

  • Bloodborne
  • Battlefield 4
  • Doom
  • Driveclub
  • Infamous Second Son
  • Killzone Shadow Fall
  • The Last of Us: Remastered
  • LittleBigPlanet 3
  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience
  • Project CARS
  • Ratchet & Clank
  • Street Fighter V
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
  • Yakuza Kiwami
  • Yakuza 0
