It has been two months since Pokémon GO was unleashed upon the world. Millions have been lost to the new deity, flicking their fingers and chasing virtual creatures across the country in an attempt to be the very best that no one ever was. The world has changed. For the better? For the worse? Nobody knows, but we as a society have now come to coexist with the immensely powerful mobile game. Some companies, like Sony, now seek that strength and plan to "aggressively" pursue it. Every empire must crumble, and Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai will lead Sony's charge to the glory of mobile gaming.

"It's quite a shift from being just a console-based business to being on mobile phones as well... Pokemon Go is a real game-changer. I'm very interested in the fact that it has the potential to really change the way people move, literally." — Kazuo Hirai, CEO of Sony

Perhaps Bloodborne GO will get mankind to stop pursuing virtual creatures and start running away from them in absolute terror. Whatever may come, Pokémon GO has shaken up the video game industry.
