At their E3 press conference a few days ago, Sony announced that PlayStation VR would be hitting store shelves on October 13th; however, virtual reality is an extremely new technology, so it's understandable that fans will want a chance to try out the device before parting with $400-500 for it. Thankfully, Sony has announced that fans will have their chance to try out PlayStation VR starting this weekend at over 30 Best Buy and GameStop stores with games including PlayStation VR Worlds, EVE: Valkyrie, Headmaster, Battlezone and SUPERHYPERCUBE.

Demos will be held at select stores on Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 18th, with times varying by store. Sony has also announced that, starting on June 24th, the number of participating stores will expand to over 300 locations in the US and Canada, with more games and stores being added as we approach October. To find out if a store near you will be participating this weekend or in the near future, you can head over to Sony's website.
