2017 marks the Kingdom Hearts series' 15th anniversary, and Square Enix plans to celebrate it by releasing Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, as well as hosting an orchestral tour that will feature music from the series. Square Enix also set up a giant stained glass clock in Shinjuku that's currently counting down to the Japanese release of Kingdom Hearts 2.8, which is this Thursday (tomorrow morning for North America).

A website has also appeared that features a digital version of the clock, which uses your device's internal clock for the countdown. It can be assumed that the countdown should match the one in Shinjuku. For now, we don't know if these countdowns mean anything other than being a celebration for Kingdom Hearts 2.8, so we'll have to wait until Wednesday morning to find out. For now, you can view pictures of the clock in Shinjuku, which will be set up until January 15th, in the gallery below!
