Since the launch of Street Fighter V back in February, rage quitting has been a significant problem in the online community. Capcom has taken measures to curb this behavior, introducing penalties for players who disconnect during a fight. A new update brings the game into Season 2 today, and it introduces even more rules to crack down on rage quitting.

Starting today, those who frequently disconnect will have a special icon displayed on their Fighter Profiles so they can be identified as a repeat rage quitter. Matchmaking has also been tweaked so that players who often disconnect will more frequently be paired together. Additionally, anytime a player disconnects during a match, their League Points will be deducted as if it was a loss.
