Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch lives up to its name by including every single fighter in franchise history. But director Masahiro Sakurai and his hard-working team aren't stopping there! During today's Nintendo Direct, Sakurai confirmed that the roster of over 70 playable characters will continue expanding after launch with paid DLC.
The exact cast of DLC characters remains a mystery (although it's confirmed that they won't be echo fighters), but Sakurai revealed that at least five DLC characters, each with their own stage and several music tracks, are on the way. You'll be able to purchase the DLC packs individually for $5.99, or you can buy the Fighters Pass to get all five characters, all five stages, and all music tracks in one bundle for $24.99.
