Nintendo launched The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild over a year ago, and fans are still finding things to get excited about. The latest discovery is an Easter Egg hidden in plain sight that has gone unnoticed for months. During the Trial of the Sword (which was added as DLC last Summer), players encounter a total of seven Sheikah monks. What no one realized before is that they're hiding a secret.
Each Sheikah monk strikes a pose after you encounter them. You may recall that the first four monks you encounter in the game (while tacking the shrines of the Great Plateau) use their hands to form a Triforce. The poses struck by the monks in the DLC are also a reference, and a more elaborate one. Upon further inspection, it turns out these seven monks area actually mimicking the poses struck by the Seven Sages of Ocarina of Time during their battle with Ganon. Reddit user kamuilyn first noticed this, and they've provided a handy side-by-side comparison.
