Trademarks for "Solgaleo" and "Lunaala" were registered in Japan, and a lot of fans are now speculating that these are the names of the Pokémon Sun and Moon's flagship legendary Pokémon. However, chances of that being true are quite small, as the trademarks were not filed by the trio of Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc., which is the usual conduct pertaining trademarks of new Pokémon names, but were instead registered by Yusuke Inui, a Japanese IP lawyer. It is still possible that Nintendo and their affiliates have registered the trademarks via proxy, but this is very unlikely.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are set to launch during this years holiday season.
