Just a few years ago, no one would have believed you if you told them that Nintendo and Ubisoft would team up on a tactical RPGs starring gun-wielding Mario characters alongside the Rabbids... but here we are. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was a surprise smash hit, achieving critical acclaim and selling over 2 million copies. And there just might be a follow-up in the works.

Earlier this week, Ubisoft sent out a survey to fans, but rather than just focusing on Ubisoft properties, the survey focused on Nintendo. Ubisoft asked fans to rate how they felt about various Nintendo characters, including Daisy, the Koopalings, Bowser Jr., Birdo, Kamek, Bowser, Luigi, Rosalina, Peach, Waluigi, Mario, Yoshi, and Wario.

That was enough to spark speculation that Ubisoft could be considering a sequel to Kingdom Battle or an all-new crossover. Things got a little more interesting today when Ubisoft Milan, one of the studios that handled development on Kingdom Battle, put out hiring ads for numerous positions. There are eight listings in all, and three of them specifically mention that they are for a "prestigious AAA title."

After the success of Kingdom Battle, it would make a lot of sense for Nintendo and Ubisoft to partner up again. Would you like to see a sequel or something completely new?
