Capcom has announced that the sixth DLC character for Street Fighter V will be Urien, who will be joining the fight in September. Capcom confirmed the news in a statement, saying, "Urien is still planned to be released in September and we'll have more details to share next month." Speculation around Urien being included in September began with dataminers finding references to him in last year's beta, and he was eventually released as a playable story mode character.

Despite several DLC characters having been released later than expected in the past, and no mention of Urien appearing in the details for the August and September updates, there is solid evidence to support an on-time release. The September update includes new costumes for all six DLC characters. With only five characters released so far, that obviously cannot happen without the release of a sixth.
