Earlier this year at the Game Developers Conference, a special event was hosted alongside the main conference specifically for VR games and platforms. This event will now get its own separate conference, the Virtual Reality Developers Conference. The VRDC will take place November 2-3, 2016, and will feature talks and an exhibition floor similar to the GDC. The conference boasts an advisory board featuring companies like Valve, Oculus, and Google, along with developers of games like Job Simulator and Fantastic Contraption, that will all help define the progression of the conference. You can still expect to see VR content at GDC 2017 in February.
