Pre-owned last-generation consoles will be on sale for absurdly low prices at GameStop for the next few days. With the company's new "Blast From the Past" sale, customers can buy a used Nintendo Wii console, along with Super Mario Galaxy and Wii Sports, for only $50. An Xbox 360 bundle that comes with three used games (Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag) is available for $50 as well. Most impressively, GameStop is also offering a catch-all console bundle with a Wii, an Xbox 360, and a PlayStation 3, which includes controllers for each console and an external hard drive for the Xbox 360, for only $160.
The sale is set to end on October 1st, only three days from now, but its run may be reduced or extended by a few days in individual GameStop stores if they find themselves running out of consoles early or unable to sell enough before the deadline.
A full list with all the deals offered in this sale can be found on GameStop's website. In addition to the deals listed above, there are a few offers for different PlayStation 3 bundles, each with a different assortment of games, and they all cost around $140. The sale also includes some deals for current-generation consoles, like the New Nintendo 3DS XL and the PlayStation 4, as well as a second three-console bundle, which comes with a Wii U, an Xbox One, and a PlayStation 4. The deals for current-generation consoles are much less generous, though, as most only offer 3% to 15% off of the original prices for the bundles, while the deals for last-generation consoles offer up to 50% off.
What do you guys think? Are you considering buying any of these bundles before October 1st rolls around? If so, which one? Let us know in the comments below!
