Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware recently teamed up to bring Dark Souls Remastered to modern consoles, but the Nintendo Switch version wasn't ready in time for launch. After a lengthy delay, the punishing game will finally launch on Nintendo's hybrid console on October 19th. Bandai promised that ahead of the game's launch they'd make a Network Test available on Switch, and today's the day!

With the Nintendo Switch Network Test, you'll be able to explore the Undead Parish, and you'll have access to both single-player and multiplayer content. To access the Network Test, you simply need to download the free client from the Nintendo eShop. The Network test goes live at the following times in the following regions:

American Times

  • September 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT
  • September 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT
  • September 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT

Europe Times

  • September 21 from 19:00 to 23:00 CEST
  • September 22 from 19:00 to 23:00 CEST
  • September 23 from 19:00 to 23:00 CEST

Japan Times

  • September 21 from 18:00 to 22:00 JST
  • September 22 from 18:00 to 22:00 JST
  • September 23 from 18:00 to 22:00 JST
