Last week Colin took a trip to demo some of Nintendo's upcoming lineup, including the highly-anticipated NES Classic Edition. This was major talking point on last week's episode of Nintendo Week, our Nintendo-themed podcast here at Gamnesia, and I had a lot of great things to say. Check out the discussion video above for our full thoughts, or keep reading below for a brief, brief summary.

To prod about the player experience, Alex asks two questions: whether the controller feels authentic, and whether the emulation has any input lag. While I wasn't playing with either of these two nuances in mind, as far as I could tell, everything ran beautifully and the newly-manufactured NES controllers felt fantastic. Certainly anyone who hasn't had these questions going into the new system won't be troubled by the experience when they play.
