Hyrule Warriors Legends is getting four new DLC packs over the course of this year, representing The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, and the most recent traditional title, A Link Between Worlds. Nintendo recently detailed the contents of each pack as well, explaining that the former two DLC packs will each bring one playable character into the roster, while the latter will introduce two new warriors.
This was one of the talking points on this week's episode of Nintendo Week, our Nintendo-themed podcast here at Gamnesia. Check out the discussion video above for our full thoughts on the upcoming characters, including predictions for the new warriors and our thoughts on how they might work, or keep reading below for a brief, brief summary.
For the Link's Awakening pack, we think Marin is the top contender, but if the team wanted to really let loose on fans, the Wind Fish could be an incredible and creative choice. We all agree Linebeck is the frontrunner for the Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks DLC pack, and we have no significant runners-up. Finally, we think Ravio and Yuga are most likely to represent A Link Between Worlds, though Hilda, Irene, and more could make interesting additions.
