Nintendo fans have been asking the company to buy out Capcom for quite some time, and while it's still a pipe dream, it's not just raving fans with a blind wish; Nintendo actually has all the reason to buy them out.
Capcom has dozens of franchises that would do well to bring Nintendo out of their downward-trending console sales, and franchises like Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry would help Nintendo shed the "kiddie" reputation they have among so many gamers—and more importantly, among third-party developers.
This is what we discuss in the second half of this week's episode of Nintendo Week, our Nintendo-centric podcast here at Gamnesia. We just uploaded the discussion video to YouTube, so give it a watch above if you'd like to learn more about why Nintendo X Capcom is truly OTP.
