Early this year, late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed that Nintendo is working on new video game hardware with a code name of NX. Unfortunately we don't have any official information (and Nintendo is keeping quiet until next year), but there are lots of reports and rumors, and many in the industry have begun voicing their thoughts and speculations.
Several developers, notably including Square Enix, have expressed interest in the upcoming console, and another developer has just joined that list. Retro City Rampage developer Vblank Entertainment recently announced their new game, Shakedown Hawaii, and they're also eyeing a possible NX release. However, studio founder Brian Proviciano is currently waiting to hear more about NX before making a decision.
