The weekly software and hardware sales numbers from Japan are in, courtesy of Media Create, and a familiar franchise is sitting at number one. The latest version of Yo-kai Watch 3 (Sukiyaki) sold 337,979 units in its debut, easily beating out Pokémon Sun and Moon, which sold just under 200,000 for the week.
The 3DS family was the big winner in hardware, as all of its various models combined for over 133,000 sales. PlayStation 4 took second, selling just under 80,000 units between its regular and Pro models. PlayStation Vita sold over 36,000 units for the week, and Wii U managed just over 5,000.
